About

I'm a senior frontend engineer in Dubai, and I've worked with React and Next.js for more than 8 years. Since 2023 I've been at Almosafer, the Middle East's omni-channel travel brand, working on the web apps people use to search for and book flights.

Most of my work sits between design systems and performance. I led the Storybook behind 40+ shared components, now used by 20 developers across 5 micro frontends. I also rebuilt our UI on a new design system with server-side data fetching, and I use analytics events to choose which experiments to run.

Before Almosafer, I built the map UI for a self-organizing network at Nokia, showing 100k+ nodes, and started the team's practice of writing a UI spec for every feature. At QBurst, I built the single-page app for an e-commerce site in Asia with 42 million visitors a month. I've also mentored 2 junior engineers and 5 new joiners.
